Over 100 vendors will be selling unique apple varieties, hot apple
cider donuts, kettle corn, local farm fresh baked goods and a multitude
of around the world specialties.

Located on the 200 and 300 blocks of North Aurora Street
right in front of Bool’s Flower Shop, the Aurora Street Fairway Market
allows one to travel down memory lane lost in the glow of the Ferris Wheel lights while
sampling farm goods such as Apple Cider Donuts, Amish Baked Goods,
and Homemade Ice Cream.

Ever had a pesky neighbor who continues to talk about her tasty crust?
Have them put their butter were their bragging is in at the Apple Pie
Bake off! Celebrity judge Emma Frisch, food network star will judge
the first ever Apple Pie Bake Off at Apple Harvest Festival!
Pies will be scored on Appearance, Crust, Filling and Overall Flavor/Taste.
$10 to enter. First place wins bragging rights,
one Apple IPod Shuffle and a $50 cash prize. Other prizes and ribbons will
be awarded to the runners up as well.

Festival goers can expect to find DJed music, door prizes, and more at the 2nd Annual Sweet
Ride Car Show!
All proceeds donated to the Rotary International End Polio Now Campaign
and is sponsored by businesses in and around Press Bay Alley, Life’s So
Sweet Chocolates, Brightworks Computer Consulting, Amuse, Boxy Bikes, Ithaca
Generator and the Downtown Ithaca Alliance.

Join us for our 5th Annual Celebration of Indigenous Culture!
This festival is the wonderful celebration of Indigenous
peoples of New York State with traditional music, crafts, displays and foods.
It provides an educational opportunity for the public to learn more about the
traditions and unlearn the stereotypes connected with Indigenous cultures.
This year will feature the Akwesasne Women's Singers in 2014. Children’s activities include Amazing Pete
and his incredible balloon creations, water drums, Corn Husk Doll making,
building projects led by Home Depot staff, face painting and more.
The First Peoples' Festival is on Saturday.

Your favorite cideries will be at the Apple Harvest Festival offering
tastes and sales by the bottle. Eve's Cidery and Bellwether Cidery can
introduce you to the hard cider revival and orchards and farmers will be
available to talk about traditional cider. Cider Week kicks off at The
Frame Shop on Buffalo with tastings from 5-8pm as part of First Friday
Gallery Night and continues at other locations throughout the week.
Other Downtown Cider Events include Oct 7: A Hard Cider Science Cabaret
with Gavin Sacks at Lot 10, Oct 10 The Cider Stomp! With Old-Time
Stringbands at the Chanti Loft and Local Cider flights all week long
at Bandwagon Brew Pub. Every event will showcase the beauty and
diversity of New York State’s orchards.
